Where to Stay While Visiting: North Coast
Nyali, Bamburi, and Kikambala hotel strips are all located on the North Coast of Mombasa; for our beach vacation customer, there is a great difference between a coastal resort and a game park lodge. North coast in Mombasa has primarily catered to those who wish to relax in the sun, dine well and be entertained at night. Kenya's warm crystal waters are embodied by some of the world's most popular coral reefs, and their dazzling array of marine life is a magnet for underwater explorers.
Nyali and Bamburi beaches are the most popular and have an established base by beach hotels and resorts. All North Coast hotels and resorts are comparable to the ones in Daytona and Miami Beach, Hawaii or the Caribbean. The Kenya hotels generally cost less, are more secluded, peaceful and offer the opportunity to explore inland Kenya.
